Which Accessories Do I Need For My HEATSCOPE® Vision?
Your HEATSCOPE® Vision comes with mounting brackets and all manuals ready for installation by a licenced electrician. Optional accessories are also available:
ZigBee Wireless Switch Remote Control
Your HEATSCOPE® Vision will need a wall switch to turn it on (50% output or 100% output), however if you would like to use a remote control, this is an optional extra called the ZigBee Wireless Switch. The ZigBee Wireless Switch operates on WiFi, so in order for this to work you will need:
- 1 x ZigBee Wireless Switch (this is your remote control)
- 1 x Dual WiFi Smart Switch (to enable WiFi access to your HEATSCOPE®)
- 1 x ZigBee Bridge (enables the remote control to talk to the WiFi)
- A WiFi Connection available where your heater will be installed
WiFi Control via eWeLink App
If you don't want a physical remote control, but would like to use an app with the same functionality, you can do this through the eWeLink App. You will need:
- 1 x Dual WiFi Smart Switch (to enable WiFi access to your HEATSCOPE®)
- eWeLink App downloaded on your phone
- A WiFi Connection where your heater will be installed

Thinking about adding a HEATSCOPE® heater to your outdoor space? Here’s what you should know to make the most of it.

How much clearance do I need?
For wall-mounted installations, make sure the bottom edge of your heater is at least 1800mm from the ground. For ceiling-mounted installations, that clearance increases to 2000mm. This ensures optimal performance and safety. Make sure you check the manual linked at the bottom of this page for an outline of all clearances.
Wall or ceiling mounting? You’ve got options!
Every HEATSCOPE® heater comes with a mounting bracket, so you can install it on either the wall or ceiling—whichever works best for your space.
Where’s the power cable located?
For VISION & SPOT models, the power cable is conveniently located on the side of the heater.
For the PURE model, it features a cable latch, making installation by your licensed electrician even easier.
Is a remote control included?
The remote control is optional for all models and works via WiFi. To use it, you’ll need an internet connection, plus the Dual WiFi Smart Switch and Zigbee Bridge (available as optional accessories).
How does the remote control work?
The remote control is a single clicker button with three functions: single click, double click and click and hold. These three functions can be programmed via the phone controls however you choose. For example:
- 1 Click - 1 element / set of elements on
- 2 Clicks - 2 elements / set of elements on
- Click and Hold - all elements off
You can also control your heater directly from your smartphone or tablet using the eWeLink app (which can be used with the addition of the Dual Wifi Smart Switch).
Can I cover my HEATSCOPE® heater?
No, never cover your heater or enclose it with insulation or similar materials. Proper ventilation is essential to ensure safe and effective operation.
NOTE: All HEATSCOPE® heaters are hard wired and must be installed by a licensed electrician.
